I know what it feels like to be different. When I was young I was diagnosed with depression and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) which makes it harder for me to focus and also brake down crying if I got yelled at.
When I was young I got yelled at for stupid stuff like eating one more cookie then I was supposed to or just not do something I was supposed to I would get yelled and break down crying. I thought about things that 6-14 year olds would think of. I tried to run away and my mom stopped me. You know how when your parents say, “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed”, it hurt you way more. Well that is my life pretty much.
Middle school was the hardest part of my life. Bullies, parents, and most of all, new friends. I was always considered an odd ball and was bullied a lot in 6th grade. People made fun me and if I sat down somewhere people would kick me off because it was “their” table. In 7th, I was bullied in PE during basketball. The kicked, punched, and pushed me which made me feel bad. But in 8th it stopped because I grew.
